Titans Season 2

Season 2 of Titans picks up a few months after the first season. We are still in 2019. This is a way to get in the line of the rest of the Arrowverse. We don't want a show that is a year in front of everything else because that could lead to fewer crossovers. 

This season won't focus as much on Dick Grayson as the previous season did. We shift the spotlight to Koriand'r. We will also have a focus on Tim Drake finally finding his place in the Titans and showing Gar and Rachel getting closer. We will develop their romance, even more, this season. 

Plot

The season begins with the Titans together as a family. All members live in Titans Tower, except for Gar and Rachel who still have their apartment a few blocks away. Tim has become the little brother of the team. Being mentored by all other members. 

Currently, the Titans are after Doctor Light. This is not the same Doctor Light we saw in The Flash. This is Arthur Light, the main Doctor Light from the comics. He is teaming up with Weather Wizard from The Flash as they begin to rob a bank. The Titans arrive but are caught off guard as they've never battled Weather Wizard before. A woman arrives who assists them and is able to beat Weather Wizard. After the fight, we learn the woman is Komand'r, Kori's sister.

Back at Titans Tower, we learn a bit about Komand'r and why she is there. Komand'r is the older sister and she is on Earth to make Kori get back to Tamaran and become queen. Kori says she doesn't want to. Komand'r decides to stay on Earth until Kori decides to get back home. 

We will get some flashbacks to Kori getting to Earth and the connections she has to Earth. For starters, we see her first year with the Titans. We see her relationship with the other members. How Gar has a crush on her, how she could connect the best with Robin (Dick Grayson), and how Rachel believed she was annoying. 

Back in the present day, they plan to stop Doctor Light. We see the team go after Doctor Light and get into a fight at a museum. During the fight, we also see that Komand'r is really good at adjusting to fighting with a team. She is also getting along really well with all the members. Especially Dick. They are together able to injure Doctor Light but he gets away. 

After this, Dick and Komand'r talk for a bit and get closer as we see how Kori feels like she is pushed to the side. Komand'r also gets the name Blackfire as a superhero name. We also get some flashbacks to after Roy Harper joined the team. In this, we see that Roy and Donna Troy was in a relationship. This was also when she and Dick began their romantic relationship. We show how the two of them got close and fell in love. For us to understand why this happened. During these flashbacks, they are also fighting Shimmer. A low-level Titans villain. 

Komand'r is able to figure out where Doctor Light has his base of operations. We see the team get there as they beat Doctor Light together. It ends with Kori and Komand'r fighting Doctor Light together. The two of them beat him and after it, Komand'r betrays Kori and tries to kill her. Dick arrives to see this and saves Kori. Komand'r is able to get away as Dick gets Kori out of there. 

At Titans Tower, they all discuss how they are going to stop Blackfire. We will also get a few flashbacks to the time when Jason Todd joined the Titans. Jason and Roy Harper became good friends and developed a bromance. Kori and Dick were a real couple at this point and we get to see how the Titans were all a family. 

In an episode, Donna Troy gets to Jump City where she meets with Dick Grayson. Dick and Donna go way back. They were friends even before the Titans were created. We also have an episode focusing on Gar. This will have a lot of flashbacks to when Gar left Doom Patrol and lived on the streets. This will even have a few cameos of characters from Doom Patrol. Confirming that Doom Patrol is in the Arrowverse as well. 

In the season finale, the Titans and Donna Troy all team up as they battle Komand'r. We learn that the reason she came to Earth was to kill Kori and make sure she could become queen. We will also learn a few things about her past. Being how she grew up without powers and was treated differently because of it. Also how she was banished from Tamaran because she was against Kori becoming queen. 

In the end, it is a fight between Kori and Komand'r. Dick and Donna also help Kori as they are together able to beat Komand'r. We will also have Dick apologizing to Kori that he trusted Komand'r so much.

Conclusion

This season is Starfire's season. We will show her bond to Earth and the Titans. This develops her as a character while also making sure we get more time with characters like Donna Troy and Garfield Logan. 

The next season won't focus as much on Kori alone but more on Dick Grayson as we will have Slade Wilson back the next season. This season will make the show focus on things more as a team instead of making it all into a Nightwing and Friends show.
